I am a philosopher interested in the formation of agency and subjectivity. My approach brings analytic philosophy together with empirically-informed social and political theorizing. You can read more about my research here.

I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Philosophy at MIT. I was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, and came to the U.S. through the Wien International Scholarship Program at Brandeis University, where I received my B.A. in Philosophy and Anthropology.

In the past two years, I have been involved in directing and teaching Experiential Ethics, an ethics of science and technology program at MIT. You can read more about this experience and my other teaching here.
